Hi Eddie,
Thanks for that. I read sometime ago a book on Persona Marketing, the definition went something like this... Your Persona is your external image that allows you (your business) to interact with your immediate environment. Knowing that is one thing, pulling it off objectively is something entirely different, but that's why we have "Eddies" thanks keep up the good work.

Hi Edd,

Like this teaser.
Marketing is the whole package box and dice of business relations, branding, face to face contact, marketing of the individual within the business as well, communication with people, marketing ( putting your self in an orange suit for eg ) branding, showing/expressing your self as a leader or influential person within the business community and community AND also advertising. Advertising is just a single piece of the whole package, one single advert to engage a product or service. Thats my go at the confusion.

Gotta love that Orange suit whether marketing or advertising and the SHOES as well. Love your committment to be "out there "

Thanks for the distinctions, Eddie.

My thoughts are, that marketing is that process of 'finding a hungry crowd', understanding what it is they truly want and making sure you put no stops in their way to having it.

Advertising is a way to attract their attention and keeping it on you as their provider of choice.

Cheers
