7 Tips to Overcoming Boredom In Business

Hi

Most of us know that marketing, targeting the right type clients, mindset and cash flow are just a few of the things important to a businesses success but one thing YOU MUST NOT LET SET IN is boredom.

Why?

Because I see it all the time in my Master Marketing sessions and as small business owners you and I are creators so everything we do has to be results focused and when you’re bored in your business you’ll lose creativity, focus, drive and passion.

So, here’s just some of the ways you can overcome boredom with an action exercise at the bottom

#1. Have a ‘build your business day’ where you go through all those idea’s you’ve written out from seminars, training events, networking breakfasts and so on that you have never implemented.

#2. You’re looking for one or two idea’s that add value to existing clients lives, one or two strategies to help you get more customers and how you can offer people things your competitors don’t. (I do this once a day every quarter for my own businesses and with other business people in my 90-Day Master Marketing sessions) and it works.

#3. Think back to when you first started your business? Remember how fired up, focused and clear you were? Get back to that place and start your day with that feeling.

#4. Get crystal clear about what and who get’s your attention

#5. Delegate tasks

#6. Be task orientated

#7. Look after yourself so you feel good, have more energy and a clearer mind which results in better decision making and achieving more

Action exercise – over the next few days carry a notebook and jot down what your bored with and what you’re not happy with.

Look it over in a few days and be honest with yourself because these are the things that you need to focus on in 2014

I’m all about sharing so if you’ve got a strategy on how you avoid boredom and continue to kick your goals I’d love to hear it and share it so leave your comment below.
